Safe Together Network was born from a simple but powerful realisation: for many experiencing domestic violence, the greatest barrier to safety is isolation.
For victims from survivors
Founded in Victoria by survivors and advocates, we recognised that pathways to support needed to be both visible and discreet—accessible through everyday spaces where seeking help wouldn’t increase risk.
Our approach
Our approach builds on successful models like UK’s Safe Spaces and Purple One, adapted for Victorian communities and informed directly by local survivors’ experiences.
Our vision
We envision a Victoria where no one facing domestic violence feels alone, where every community has visible pathways to safety, and where survivors are supported with dignity on their journey to recovery and independence.
Those with lived experience guide our work, ensuring solutions address real needs rather than assumptions.
Community Powered
We believe ending domestic violence requires collective action—transforming everyday spaces into points of connection and support.
Practical & Immediate
Beyond awareness, we create tangible routes to safety through trained staff, physical safe spaces, and clear next steps.
Culturally Responsive
Our network reflects the diversity of Victorian communities, maintaining universal access to safety.
Our team
Safe Together Network brings together survivors, domestic violence specialists, community advocates, and business leaders committed to creating practical solutions to domestic violence in Victoria.

Our partners
We collaborate with established domestic violence services across Victoria, working alongside rather than replacing specialised support. Our network creates additional access points to these vital services.
